Morning Symites
Hope you are all ready for the festering season. Had to pop out yesterday morning to get the last of Mrs Jenksys presents so I was up and out by 8.30! The Marks & Sparks car park was already fairly busy, so I was pleased I'd taken the Symply as I could park right outside the door. Just had to pick up some nice pyjamas for Mrs Jenksy (she likes her p.j's). Well the queues of people picking up their food orders was unbelievable! As I was in the ladies nightwear department with my bright yellow jacket and crash helmet in hand blending in with the background I heard the little beep on my phone! "could you get some wrapping paper please" said Mrs Jenksy. Yes I can do that no problem. So once I'd made my purchases off I went back to the Symply. Now some things are easy to carry on scooters and some things are a pain, wrapping paper on a roll is definitely a pain. Its so bloody long an awkward. Anyway I have to get it home so after a bit of thought, I stuck it down the back of my jacket and off I went. Must have looked really cool with two rolls of festive wrapping poking out as if it was growing out of my head. Popped into get some fuel a whole £3.76 worth! The lady on the till did have a little giggle as I went to pay with the paper still stuck down the back! Mrs Jenksy had a little chuckle as well (actually it was quite a big chuckle). So that was that. The Symply is all safely locked up and covered until boxing day now. Its times like this when the scooter really comes into its own, so much easier than a car (even with wrapping paper to buy), oh yes and much more fun. Might pop to the footy at Eastleigh on boxing day so the Symply will be out then. I even avoided the temptation to jump on it today to go and get some milk from the Tesco Express up the road, I WALKED! Anyway hope you all have great Christmas, just make sure that you do have to much turkey and chocolate before falling asleep on the sofa! MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!!!!
