So far we have the Singapore Owners Group and ourselves onboard for the first International SYM Riders Day (see reply below). What sort of date would people be up for this? It could be an event to bring regional riders together and hopefully as interest grows become an annual international event.
Greetings bro Rick. Its an honour to be a part of it. Do extend the details so we could arrange a MEGA meetup on our side to contribute our part. Thanks n hope to hear from u soon.

It has the potential to be a start of something I'm sure. If some of us can get out on our SYM's on that day, either solo riding or possibly meet up, post some photos etc it would get the event off to a great start and promote the group and forum at the same time. It's something everyone can participate in. The scene is already established in Singapore, and I will be contacting SYM in the UK and the US.
Any thoughts on a specific date?

I must say this forum is certainly growing due in no small part to your efforts and the efforts of other members who are being very pro-active in getting the word out there!

Well... As seen from on Wikipedia, In July 2005, Sanyang launched a new range of two-wheelers for sale in the European market. So, why not have the SYM Riders Day on 1st July every year? It would also make for a good weather day for any potential meet or ride out!! What does everyone else think?

1st July would be excellent time of year, hopefully good weather and lighter nights. Everyone happy with this or if you prefer a weekend we could opt for the first Sunday of July every year.

Sounds like a good idea. Weekend would probably be the best for a lot of people. Lets hope we get a decent rainy season, oh I'm sorry I meant summer. It's difficult to tell sometimes. I suppose winters are cold and wet and summers are warm and wet. My guide for if its been a good summer or not is 1) How much cricket I get to watch and 2) How often I get to ride the Symply to work! Last year was better in parts than some but far from perfect! Keep up the good work and fly the flag for worldwide Symism! Actually that sounds a bit dodgy, better just fly the flag for international friendship!

Perhaps take a selfie of yourself and the SYM next to a signpost of your home town and post it up here.

Singapore are definitely onboard with this. I'll try and put a flyer together and promote 5th July

Been away for a while. Nice to see that we all pulled together and organised a huge event for the 1st Annual International Sym Riders Day. ❓❓❓
