Bumped into quite an interesting young chap (20 yrs) on a Symba step thru this afternoon. Inspired by the antics of a Gent called Ed March who is a bit of an explorer on a Honda C90 he said he fancied keeping on a SYM after 2 years faultless riding on his first taste of 2 wheels being a jet 50. The Symba being the nearest bike to the honda design he chose that.
Being quite taken by the retro look of the Symba i thought i would have a look on the SYM UK Home page and not a word of it in the 2015 line up. Plenty of online dealers still advertising them through their showrooms for new purchase. So has SYM themselves dropped the model? Shame if they have i think. Really is a bit of a retro looker and always had good reviews it would seem.

I had a look on www.symuk.co.uk and indeed the Symba is no longer listed, as well as my favourite, the Combiz. I hope those haven't been discontinued as I really liked the Symba and nearly bought it but I preferred the cargo capacity and extra power of the Combiz and went for that instead. Also I really wished Honda would sell the latest fuel-injected Super Cub here as I would probably get one if available.

You take cargo capacity to a new level TPP!

I think they are probably more popular in the US, and may simply be marketed there and the far east. A real shame if that, or them being discontinued, is the case
