Afternoon Guys, thought i would show you a couple of pics of a New project bike that came my way this morning. Very much a case of a Friend of a Friend sort of way i came across this and was told about it sitting in a Mates neighbours back garden for the best part of 18 months. So was offered a lift to have a look (glad to get out the house)Rusty around all the chrome but it is all complete and all the paperwork present and correct including all the original purchase/ service bits. The chap has been it's only owner from new. All the Electrics work and it ran, though as rough as nails so be no messing about there and will just do an engine rebuild.
Will still be taking over ownership of Brenda's Late Brothers Symply 50 in the not to distant future and be back out on the the road on that when the Broken bones are healed. Just thought this would be a nice little project (no SYM deserves to rot away in a garden)
Best bit was the price. Of cause in this situation you wait for some stupid sky high request from the owner. The chap just thought for a moment and said "If you can take it now in your mates van you can have it for £50" Needless to say it did end up in the van and now in my garden.
