Greetings all you SYM Masters. Currently sat near an air con unit at 04.20 am, 76f and being told it's a mild night. but am not to worry as it probably wont get above 85 or 90 on this day Tuesday 17th FEB. Now being not one for the heat you can imagine one is feeling a little uncomfortable.Planning to be out here till roughly end of March but if the air con breaks down it will probably be the end of the week . Just started to get the body clock sorted and planning a gentle hobble up to scoot n Toot later to soak up the Aussie scooter atmosphere. The coast road and carparks are just a buzz of scooters, and mostly SYM's it has to be said with a few 'pugrots' thrown in. Cheers Guys is it too early for a XXXX (that's a beer not a censorship)

Cheers Guys is it too early for a XXXX (that's a beer not a censorship) Glad to hear your having a nice bit of a rest Cobbler! Oh no, that's not quite right is it? Oh yeah, I remember now COBBER! Well foreign languages are not really my strongest point. Scoot n Toot even sounds brilliant in my book mate! interesting to hear what different Syms are supplied to Australia. I suppose when you think about it Taiwan isn't that far from Australia at least not compared to us. And the old Aussies aren't going to buy rubbish are they. And after all scooters are so much fun. Hope your air con. keeps on working for you, I'm one of those people who like the heat myself (55c in Morocco a few years back, even I found that on the warm side). If your not coming home until the end of March that means you'll be away until the start of the rainy season. Or as some people call it Summer! The old Symply is having a rest until tomorrow, it was rainy today and as you know mate I don't do rain! Supposed to be nice and sunny tomorrow and a whole 7c (I think that's about 45f), not warm enough to take the longjohns off though. Have a great time mate and best wishes to Brenda. Keep us posted and maybe we could have few Aussies posting here to!

Cheers jenksy, been told it is going to rain Wednesday and Thursday though still in the 80's.Or as they say here 'Bladdy throw it down mate'. Now not far past 08.00 so going to set off for a hobble soon. Scoot n Toot has been described as a surfers version of a scooter shop where people just hang around and do scootering stuff.Guess i will find out what that is lol. Brendas getting ready to go off on the little SYM Jolie to work.Nice to hear the buzz of a 2 stroke engine. Your right on the vehicles with Taiwan/Korean origins. Loads of Kia 4x4 and cars. Many Fords as well that i have never seen before.
Looking good for the surf today(the weather and waves not me) to many big fish with pointy teeth.

04:30 76f pouring rain and brenda is getting ready to go off to work. Was stood in the back Garden 10 minutes ago and it was like being under a normal household shower. Scoot n Toot what the hell can you say, a place where you turn up, drink Coffee and just watch those chaps go at it hammer and tongs all day long. Very busy place.Your not in the way, your welcome just to hang about and interact with whatever is going on in the building. Must have watched 20 scooters mostly 50 and 125 cc riders just turn up, grab a drink and sit in the yard chilling out before heading out for the coast. So bloody excepted and no one bats an eyelid. None of the 'your in the way and not buying' attitude. Guess they all do in the end as it is a hive of activity.
Cheers Guys am now seriously missing the 2 wheeled rides.
