Hi guys hows it going ? My Symply 50 has had a bit of trouble starting of late. I have been twisting the throttle a little bit when pressing key in ignition like the fella in the shop told me when I bought it. But after having trouble starting it the last few weeks ..I read the manual and it says don't do it .
Anyway I tried just the ignition and its been ok for a week or so but now its turning over fine but no ignition and is stuck up at the train station. Has anyone had this happen before? Its only a year old . Could it be I need a new spark plug ?
Thanks gang ,
Lloyd

Hi, welcome aboard.
I always give my Orbit II (same as a Symply 2) a bit of gas when pressing the starter button, can't imagine it does it any harm especially at this colder time of year when starting in general can be more difficult.
I had something similar happen to mine not long after I got it. One day the bike would turn over but not start up. I'd washed the bike down the day before so can only assume something got wet that shouldn't have. I took the spark plug out, cleaned and dried it, checked the air filter, put it all back and hey presto it worked, never had the problem again.
I'd take the spark plug out, clean it with a dry cloth, check it looks OK and put it back again, worth a try. I presume as it's turning over then your battery is OK ?
There's a forum called 49ccscoots which is based in the US but has a lot of very helpful people when it comes to troubleshooting, might be a good idea to post on there too.
Good luck
