Came across this neat little website while searching for something else yesterday.
It lets you see how many people are riding about on the same machine as you.
www.howmanyleft.co.ukI decided to see how some of my early scoots were holding up.
First bike I had was the the cheapo Indian made Bajaj Spirit 50cc.
I bought mine in March '03 and was one of only 12 people in the UK that did.
The number of owners rose to a high of 31 the following year, but by 2013 there wasn't one left.
Second bike was the Adly Supersonic 125cc (also known as the Adly Activator).
A high of 76 people owned one the year I got mine, 2003, but there are now only 8 still running.
Third bike was the awful Piaggio B125 (the one I got a full dealer refund on!!).
To be fair I must have been very unlucky as a high of 813 people owned one when I collected mine in 2004, and 265 are still on the road today.
Finally my top scoot, the Honda SES-2 Dylan 125cc.
A high of 865 bought the same model as me in 2004, and 328 are still in service, as I'm confident mine would have been were it not for the encounter with the 4x4 driver !
I suppose this is all a bit geeky, but it amused me for a while :-)
