Hi All, Just a quick ask on Who the best recovery service is to join (pending our Summer Jaunt) .Always good to have a bit of back-up. Is any one of them better for scooters over the others? Cheers for now

Cheers for now RAC every time for 2 wheels. They seemed to be geared up more for bikes with proper trailers etc if you need a lift some where. Don't skimp on cover level. Get the full relay service if your going to be a fair few miles from home. Take care joe1998

Probably worth sticking to a big player like RAC as you are planning a proper epic adventure there mate and although there are plenty of cheaper alternative choices which are fine if your not venturing more than 50 miles or so from home, it might well be worth a few extra quid for peace of mind. Hopefully you won't need it mate. I do admire your sense of adventure and am looking forward to reading about it on our forum. Have you got any dates in mind yet? In the meantime have fun and enjoy the sun!

Cheers dieseljim and jenksy
Was going through the sites today and Firstly the AA when you click on motorcycles cover you just seemed to be taken back to cars all the time and it seemed a bit confusing. RAC was much better and putting in the Symply's details and straight away they knew what the bike was and covered with no problems. My Friend did the same with his Pulse Scout so we are both covered on full roadside and Relay within the UK to any destination if problems arise. £11.00 a month on D/D so seems a small price to have that peace of mind. All being well and i think we have sorted all the gear carrying problems etc and have a good route plan set up using as many Minor roads as possible. Will be heading through the Peak District first on route to North Wales and heading South through Wales to get to Bristol where my Brother and Mechanic lives/works to sort out and service any issues. From then on it is a case of head South Coast and work our way along it. Monday 6th July as far seems to be the agreed start Date.
