Hi all Been a bit of a strange old week, found myself a bit jumpy on the Symply which i did not think i would be. Found myself braking sharply if a car appeared at a side road or noticed a vehicle behind approaching a bit quick.Anyway today just went out and rode and rode going no where in particular and shook all those thoughts from the mind.I'm sure lightening will not strike twice so to speak. New profile pic of the Symply that will take me many miles i am sure. Taken outside the Churchyard that jonscoot lays to rest.Bless you. Cheers all

Can't imagine what it would be like to be involved in an accident but glad you are getting back onto the wheels.

Don't worry Housey that's perfectly normal. I've been in a couple of crashes over the years and it does make you wary, especially when first back riding again. Ultimately it will make you a better rider and caution should always be a priority when we're on small vulnerable vehicles like ours. The fact that you are back on the road after the experience you had is something you should be proud of, it takes guts.

After my first heavy off it took me a while to get back on two wheels. After my third (or fourth) off, I decided to try three wheels, but I missed being able to bank it into a corner so I bought the little 250, thinking that if it couldn't go fast then I couldn't do a lot of damage. I never took into account idiot car drivers who don't look out for bikers. I have now bought the Fiddle 'cause I can't get onto my bikes at present 'cause of the damage to my right knee. If you are determined to get back onto two wheels there is always a way, even if you are a bit cautious at first. Happy Biking (or should that be Scootering )

Glad your riding again mate, its bound to be a bit strange at first. But now you've done the first bit its onwards and upwards. Had a couple of scrapes with the work van over the last 30 years, and it has made me very defensive with my driving. Hit a car from behind at the roundabout by Sainsburys at Ferndown due to a lapse of concentration for a moment. No one hurt but if that was a bike or a scooter even at that low speed, it doesn't bear thinking about. I now look only to the front on roundabouts until I know there is nobody there, then I look right! I think if you expect everyone to do their worst you can plan against it! Nice idea to take the Symply to visit our old mate, he would certainly approve! Enjoy your self mate and take care.

Another day spent just bumbling around on the Symply. Found myself out the door at 5am and ended up in Bridport. Let the scoot have a rest and caught the bus into Lyme Regis for a walk around the Cob and Fish and Chips.Pretty slow traffic all the way home which suits me fine just following along in the queue.Just over 100 miles for today so reckon i can get back into the swing of it.Time to get the Qumox camera on again on future rides :-)

Nothing better than Fish and Chips at the Seaside, maybe an ice cream to finish it off :-)
