It's been beautiful in Edinburgh over the last few days. What a pleasure it is to do jobs on the bike that don't involve scraping mud off, or spraying with anti road salt compounds etc. Adjusted the wiring of my alarm this afternoon to incorporate a plug that I can disconnect easily if I need to remove the seat pan. Also decided to repaint the tyre wall lettering which had worn a bit during the winter. This is what it looked like before (OK from a distance, but up close cracked and yellowing). And after a re-paint... The odd smudge etc, but scooter tyre lettering is VERY small. The wheel rim stickers have survived the winter intact, just needed a wipe over.

That makes a difference, but as you say it hasn't done to bad through the winter. We have had almost 3 weeks of dry, sunny and warmish weather (out of the wind). Riding a scooter is always fun but even more so when the weather is nice. To and from work in the daylight, much more civilised!

Long may the Weather hold. Had a nice little run on the Symply late afternoon of 14 miles but heading back home around 7-7:30pm the low Sun was very strong and put the strain on the eyes. Sun glasses hardly helped at all. Nice to be out and about on the Bike when the Weather is good though.

It does make such a difference. Put the tinted visor on my Shox helmet last night as I hit the sun in the early morning and the afternoon. Took a film of my run to work this morning just for the novelty of it being daylight again.

Hope it's not to tinted or it will make everything look grey and cloudy!!! Look forward to seeing the work run in daylight, I haven't had a spin through Edinburgh for a while now. Take care on those mean streets and try not to be distracted by all the ladies walking around in short skirts and skimpy tops now the sun is out. Mind you it looks like the weekend isn't supposed to be very nice down here.

Can't be a very good tinted visor if it leaves your vision "grey and cloudy". I have tinted visors on most of my helmets and have never had problems with vision.
P.S. I Do Not Use Them At Night
