Oh boy nothing worse than the roads after a long dry spell and the rain starts to fall again. I'm sure at times it's like riding on black ice or that's what it feels like.Did feel a bit of a 'step-out' from the wheels going very carefully around a roundabout. Still Smiling though

Still Smiling though Your not kidding there mate. Thought I'd got away with it, but just as I was leaving work it started. No leaning into bends and corners and a lot more concentration needed. Made it without incident though. Freshly wet roads are a challenge on 2 wheels to say the least, even more so than on the old pushbike. Have good weekend. I'm off to the oval on Sunday as it's meant to be dry to see Hampshire play. I'll take the symply I think...... well as far as the railway station. Reckon I'd need to leave tonight to get from Southampton to Vauxhall by scooter! Have fun everyone!

I know exactly what you mean! I was riding home from yet another trip to the Forest of Dean last night. Where, not a single drop of rain fell all day! The minute i see a town name that i vaguely recognise as being within 20 miles of home, suddenly the roads are soaked. Still had a great ride though! (slight numb bum once i finally got up though!) Hope you've all had a great weekend!
