This scootering lark would save me a fortune were it not for all the money I spend on accessories. Latest purchase is a Shox Assault Tracer helmet, as I wanted something with a built in sun visor. My last helmet was a Shox and I was really impressed with the build quality, comfort and price.

I use open face helmets with integrated visors. I think they are great. Can't stand full face, it makes me feel claustrophobic.

Have to admit i hate having the Visor down on a crash helmet. Can have rain hitting the face like needles and still would rather have that than the visor down.

Thats a good idea with the sun visor! See you (like me!),coordinate the colours of scooter and helmet! The shox helmets don't look bad at all and are reasonably priced. I bought an HJC from Infinity motorcycles not far from me. That was £80 in the sale! The bloke helped to make sure it fitted alright and said "just have a look around the shop with it on for about 10 minutes or so to make sure it feels OK". I felt a bit daft but did it anyway. The other thing was the size....XL! Hmmm, made in Vietnam, do Vietnamese really have smaller heads then?
