5 minutes to midnight, the house is silent. Lad is staying at mates.Working out the Summer holiday routine. Glastonbury in a couple of weekends. House is still quiet. God don't you miss the kid when they are not at home.

God don't you miss the kid when they are not at home. No!!! Baby Jenksy is 22 and still at home!!! Our lad has been gone a few years now. Still turns up for a dinner (with girlfriend in tow sometimes), a pint of milk or to borrow something from the old man! They are both good kids though but Mr and Mrs Jenksy do like it when its just us. Does that sound mean? Its not meant to be. I did say I would buy us both scooters when we retire at 60 (done the sums, all looks good) and that we could have adventures together. Raised eyebrow and a "hmmm". |

I will be 60 in 7 weeks time but I am hoping the new scooter I bought for myself will be here before then
