Afternoon all Hope you are all well. Busy last 10 days building this little home in the woods. Small and comfortable. Original was going to be about twice the size but having cleared the amount of area i was allowed too and wanting nearby ground for small outbuildings and possible livestock pens i kept it simple and small (just like me ). Still on the look out for a 125 off road machine but have purchased a mountain bike that i enjoy riding around my woods in the morning and evening for a short time when the wildlife is most active. Enjoy the weekend all

Very smart mate, what a clever old thing you are! Glad you are enjoying your new found freedom. Good thing with smaller buildings is they are easier to get and keep warm in the winter! Are you looking for what used to be called a trial bike (if my memory serves me)? They are higher with high mudgaurds and knobbly tyres as I remember! Not something that Sym make I think! I must admit I like to visit the wilds but old Jenksy is definitely a "townie". Funny really as I'm not a great one for people as such! I prefer my own company more often than not. Take care now mate!

That looks like a fun bike for out in the wilds of deepest North Wales!

The wooden house I live in is slightly bigger but probably just as warm. The picture shows the guys starting to make the house disable friendly for my friend Sarah who owns it. I'll put up a photo of it finished tomorrow.
PS well done on the build it looks really great.

Afternoon all cheers for the positive feed back. Cheers Mark for the offer of the Suzuki TS100. Just the sort of thing i am looking for but wondering if i could condemn such a clean classic to a life of all North Wales will throw at it over the coming Winter months. Looking into probably a Chinese made off road style bike. If it lasts a few years then that would be good enough for the money. Not so much to use on my own land but more on the local roads when the harsher weather sets in. Hoping tomorrow a local fireplace fitter will be arriving to install a log burner. Something best left to the professional, as you could imagine one mistake in the heat proofing up through the roof could spell disaster in a wood build.Getting very much involved in a local (30 miles away) conservation group who teach woodland skills in return for help managing their own land.As they exercise is the best diet and i have to say the podgey 15 1/2 stone me that started here is now a healthier 13 1/2 stone. (i can see my feet) :-)
Take care all and have a good week
