So far filming from the PCX has involved:
Camera on windscreen - useless too much vibration Camera mounted on front right side - still some vibration, not too bad but obviously no view of controls, dash etc Camera mounted on helmet - good video but I look a complete wally and it's just not happening...
OK, latest experiment...
Bought one of those chest mount strap contraptions on eBay for about £4. This works quite well, good scenery, and views of the dash and handlebars which give a greater feeling of actually riding the bike. I also like the fact I can't see the camera. Sometimes mounts on the dash or handlebar area can be distracting which isn't good !
Anyway, filmed my run to and from work today and here is the result, comments always welcome.

The chest mount works really well mate, seems to be best option. Going to work in the dark, yuk!!! The PCX motors very nicely. Nice afternoon though for the trip home. I do enjoy these little trips around Edinburgh's fair streets. Hope all is going well.

Thanks Jenksy, I think I'll stick with the chest mount as I'm pleased with the results and it's hassle free. The days are drawing in, but hope to get some more runs filmed before the worst of the winter arrives.
Hope all is good with you, keep safe out there.

This looks great mate. Sadly it wouldnt do me much good as my windscreen comes up quite high. But looks really good. I'm considering getting another one and mounting it backwards to keep an eye on the people behind me.

I don't think there are that many car drivers who have heard of "The 2 second rule"! Of course those proper big motorbike boys have a habit of sneaking up and zooming past before you even know they are there. Hope the old GTS is going nicely mate!

I know what you mean, been given the fright of my life sometimes by those big bike boys. Check your mirror and nothing. 2 seconds later and an almighty noise makes you jump out of your skin as they scream past you. The GTS is going beautifully thanks, well when you ignore the blowing exhaust anyway. I have a brand new one by Technigas, just need to have a special bit put on it for the lambda sensor and it will be on. I really need to get on that!
