Merry Weekend all, hope you are having a fine one.Set out after the Lad had finished school yesterday and headed North to Birmingham to visit the National Motorcycle Museum. Nice day today wandering around all those fully restored classics. Amazing to think during the 30/40/50's Britain held 95% of Motorcycle manufacturing. Before those pesky Japs came along lol.
Nice straight forward trip there and back in the trusty LDV. The roads were pretty much idiot free (makes a change). Weathers certainly on the cool now, had to call it a day with the shorts for the year.Time to dig out the cargo trousers.
Hope you are all fine and Dandy and not getting to bogged down in the pre xmas mayhem.
Take care, be safe and have fun :-)

Bet that was interesting mate. I like to see the old machines but I'm not so nostalgic about how great things were! I look at old technology and whilst it was cutting edge for its time we have certainly moved on and generally (purely my own opinion) for the better! The only thing now though is the days of stripping down the family car out on the drive are in the past. The humble scooter seems to be the last outpost of the "tinkerer". Not sure that is an actual word but you get my drift! Soon be time for old Jenksy to have a tinker with the Symply. Just coming up to 6000 kms. Got my oil and a new strainer, NGK plug, fuel filter, just need an air filter. I'll give the CVT belt a check as well and have a front pad inspection. Hope everyone is getting excited about Christmas, Jenksy is! Advent calendar on the mantle waiting to be opened, off to winter wonderland at Hyde Park with Baby Jenksy. Afraid I'm a big kid at heart! Take care all.
