Just had a view of the Europe bit on You Tube! What a Hero! Now that's what you call an adventure. Those old C90's just keep going (even when the oil pump packs up!). Who knows maybe we will be viewing similar videos of Sym Symba owners on their adventures in years to come. Went down to sunny Swanage yesterday (by car!), saw loads of Honda Cubs on the front (by the pier). Some of them really were like new. Wasn't able to spend to long looking as Mrs Jenks wanted her fish and chips. "Oh look" I said, "yes scooters...Lots of scooters" replied Mrs Jenks "well not really scooters" I pointed out "yes love of course how silly of me not to notice" with that 'do I look like I'm bothered' smile. They just don't understand do they. They were gone when we came back. Fish and chips were bloody lovely though. Just off to check my Symply you know tyres, oil lights, brakes and all that, got my new tax disc as well so I'll do that whilst I think of it. Have fun out there in Symland and watch out for the wind, very blowy down here today.

There was a Husband and Wife by the names of Collin and Re who went off on a touring trip on 2 SYM Symbas in 2010.Found a couple of small blogs on this by googling the info. You could use this to hint to Mrs Jensky for your next Holiday ;-) .Yes a bit blowy and showery a bit further up the Coast as well, sometimes you can feel poor Symply gritting her teeth in a headwind. My Tax Disc due November so falls under this new way they are changing to where the paper disc is no more and it's all done electronicly. Been reading up on it and they say you still get a postal reminder and just follow the instructions.
Keep smiling you guys, well it's hard not to on a SYM :-)

I took an extra half an hour to get home from work today on the Evo. Why? Because i had some idiot on a 125 scooter with a stupid loud exhaust on it getting all up in MY exhaust in the 30. So i thought I'd show him what a real 125 scooter can do and went straight past the turning for my home. Despite being significantly heavier than whatever it was he was riding, when i got into the 60, He just couldn't keep up, even though i could hear him trying through the music i had playing on my Scala thanks to his silly exhaust. I let him catch me up several times before doing the same thing and then...he was gone! His headlight not so much as a speck in my mirror and i could finally listen to my music and find an extra long detour home in peace. I love my bike!!

There are some proper knobs on the road, makes you cringe. I was going past the now closed fords factory on the way to work this morning at 40 mph, when a bloke on a proper big boys motorbike zoomed past me. As he came to the roundabout he thought he'd undertake a car, couldn't , so swerved around the other side and overtook ON the roundabout. Took off like a rocket and still in a 40 limit. Sometimes it really is "Think bike (or scooter ) think idiot". Hope you enjoyed your detour home mate.

I agree with that statement too much! Its a shame but in all too many cases, it is true.
