Can anyone suggest which cleaning products to use to keep the SYM shining? Think the Joyride is about ready for a clean.

Can anyone suggest which cleaning products to use to keep the SYM shining? Think the Joyride is about ready for a clean. I must admit mate I don't use any specific scooter stuff. I use the same as I do on my car. Asda or Tesco wash & wax shampoo, and from The Range I use Carkit waterless cleaner as a polish. The Carkit one is great as if your scooter isn't to dirty as you don't need to wash it first. On the wheels I just use a soft brush. I make sure everything is dried off using a micro fibre cloth (don't get the really cheap ones though). Must admit I do like to keep my scooter and car nice and shiny as I am a sad git!

So far I've been using a bucket of warm water with a drop of washing up liquid in it, and rinsing it well with clean water afterwards. I got given some Muc-off helmet cleaner that was actually pretty good, I used it on the front of the bike a couple of times and it worked well. They do sell a 1 litre spray bottle for about £6-£7 called 'Muc-Off Nano Tech Bike Cleaner' that can be used on the entire bike. I've seen it at a few builders merchants and heard it's pretty good so I might get one and try.

I use Williams Waterless Wash & Wax. It's handy as I live in a flat so don't have to lug buckets of water about. You simply spray on, wipe off the dirt then buff to a shine, brings plastic, metal and chrome up beautifully.
